LO3 Final animation
Made my me (Angelica Urfano)
My final animation is about a two sausages running from a hand trying to come after them, the two sausages are called Tillie and Louie and throughout the my animations, they run in all scenes from the barbecue to the garden and out of the television freaking out the family watching the film of Tillie and Louie on TV , with the sad ending of Louie getting eaten by Fran Stone.
I made the animation by taking many pictures of the scenes and putting them together as an animation, using a camera, a tripod and a desk, I used pictures like most of my backgrounds from the internet (Google images), with my drawn backgrounds like the TV screen, my main characters like Tillie and Louie were drawn by me, mixed with pixilation (Taylor's hand grabbing the two sausages), cut out animation, drawn animation and also an already made video introducing my animation (20th Century Fox)
How i got my characters like Tillie and Louie to move is by them bouncing up and down, and because they didn't have any legs or arms, this was a very good idea to have because it fit my characters for being sausages and it gave them a cute funny look.
i would describe my animation style as a mixed, because i have different things going on in the animation fit for each scene.

What is limited animation?
What is a repeat cycle in animation and why would it be used?
It's when they repeat something over and over again to save money.
For example-someone talking and using the same face and body ,just different voices or words. Or scenes are sometimes repeated.
.....and many more.
Who first developed the use of a repeat cycle in animation, and why did they use it?
Disney and Hanna and Barbera did it at the same time because it was cheap.
What is the difference between a cyclic repeat and an oscillate cycle?
- Cyclic is 1,2,3,4 repeated exactly the same order.
- Oscillate is 1,2,3,4 but then turned reverse order to 4,3,2,1 starting to the same position.
How can a character be created to make 'limited animation' easy to do?
They make it easy to do as they use objects or clothing to hide a part of their head or arms and legs that can be moved and nothing else on the body. Like neck-ties or a prominent collar.
Who developed 'limited animation' and what does it mean?
Hanna and Barbera-they thought of the idea of "planned animation" (known aswell as limited animation)-means recycling the backgrounds and minimal movements.

What animation did you create?
Me and taylor made a cut out animation (with picture)
We were looking at Monty Python Animations
How did you create them? discuse the materials, equipment and techniques.
We used:
- pens
- paper
- scissors
- still photography cameras
- computer
- editing software
- a table
- magazines (to get the photos from)
I learnt that, we shouldn't have anything in the background that shouldn't be there, and when you make an animation , make sure its smooth so when u watch it, it's clear and buch better looking, you can do this by maybe putting more frames in, that means small movements for your aniamtion.
What do you think would have improved your aniamtion, or made it more successful?
If we had more materials and more space and more time to do it in, think it would have been cleare if there was more lighting aswell.
Did you work in a group or alone? If you were in a group, what roles did you have?
I worked with Taylor:
my role-to move the picture to where they should be next
Taylor's role-to take the photos on the camera
What worked well in your animation?
The picture that we used and the idea that came together all fit, and esepecially the pciture that we chose.
Our story was people on a cat walk and then suddently, a gorgeous man comes along the cat walk and gets all the girls attention, so the man runs for it and his car comes up and he drives away leaving the girls. which suited withe the whole idea of the the cat walk people wearing glamerous clothes.
How does this aniamtion develop your aniamtion skills and how does it link with previous animations you've made?
It helps and it it gives us a chance to try out animation (making them) and know what we should improve on for other animations that we do...so they are better, and better.
